From the recording Rastaration (2025)

SYSTEM: Trinidad and Tobago’s politics are marked by a two-party system, shaped by ethnic divisions and class struggles. Despite its oil wealth, systemic oppression and poverty continue to affect marginalized communities. Corruption and inequality persist, breeding frustration among the youth. Artistes like Quin-C-Deh and Jah Banton use music to amplify voices of the oppressed, challenging the status quo. Their lyrics reflect daily struggles and  economic hardship. In a society where survival often overshadows dreams, their art becomes resistance.
